DESCRIPTION

A cloud of poison gas coils around your foes, warding off help.

The target creature takes 2d10 points of damage. Creatures that end their turn adjacent to the target must succeed at a Fortitude save or be affected as if by the spell poison. The target itself does not become poisoned. This poison deals 1d3 Constitution damage per round for 6 rounds. Poisoned creatures can make a Fortitude save each round to negate the damage and end the affliction.

In addition, fog emanates from the target in a 5-ft. radius and obscures all sight, including darkvision, beyond 5 feet. A creature within 5 feet has concealment (attacks have a 20% miss chance). Creatures farther away have total concealment (50% miss chance, and the attacker can't use sight to locate the target).

While the target is underwater the fog does not emanate and the poison does not spread.

Special: Poisoned creatures also become nauseated if the sorcerer has the aberrent or protean bloodlines.

You can only cast an onerous spell once a day, even if you have unused spell slots available.
