DESCRIPTION

Your hold on your enemies mind lets you move your foe, tormented by spasms, around the battlefield.

This attack deals 1d8 points of damage per caster level (maximum 5d8). The target receives a Will save for half damage. In addition, as a swift action at the start of each of the target’s turns, you can force the target to move up to half its speed according to your direction. This causes the target to use one move action each round and therefore prevents them from taking a full-round action or making a 5-foot step. The target can choose to move the remainder of its speed as part of the same move action and may make additional move actions after the first. If this movement takes the target into a dangerous area, such as through a threatened square or off a ledge, the target receives a second Saving Throw to end the effect before moving into peril.

If the target succeeds its initial saving throw, it takes half damage and you can only compel the target to move on each of its turns as a swift action. You have no control over such movement and a 5-foot step satisfies the compulsion.

This spell has no effect on creatures without an Intelligence score.
