DESCRIPTION
A claw formed from your life force crushes your
foes in its grip and serves as a conduit for your power.
This spell functions as spectral hand,
except as noted above and it can be used to make claw attacks (dealing 1d4
points of damage for a medium sized spellcaster) or to grapple and strangle your foes. If used to grapple an opponent,
you may use the claw as though it possesses the chokehold feat. The claw’s CMB is equal to your caster level plus to your Charisma bonus. This grapple check does not provoke attacks
of opportunity.
The CMD of the claw, for the purposes of escaping the grapple, is equal to 10 + its CMB.
The CMD of the claw, for the purposes of escaping the grapple, is equal to 10 + its CMB.
A spectral claw can be used to grapple another spectral claw or a spectral hand
and vice versa. The CMB and CMD of a spectral hand is
equal to its creator’s caster level plus the creator’s Intelligence, Wisdom, or Charisma bonus (whichever is higher). While grappling, spectral claws and spectral hands
can damage one another. A spectral hand
deals damage as an unarmed
strike for a creature of the caster’s size. Neither a
spectral claw nor a spectral hand
gains any bonus to this damage and cannot benefit from its creator’s combat
feats, if any.
While grappling, a spectral claw or spectral hand
cannot return to its creator. Since it is incorporeal, it can effect incorporeal creatures and objects accordingly.
