DESCRIPTION
A brilliant beam lances out to strike your foe
and befuddle it.
If you hit the target with a ranged touch
attack the ray deals 2d6 points of nonlethal damage
per caster level (maximum 8d6), and the target must save or be dazzled for 1d4 rounds. If the target has light
blindness, light
sensitivity, or is otherwise vulnerable to bright light, it
is blinded for 1d4 rounds instead.
At 11th caster level, the target is blinded for 1d4 rounds on a successful hit or dazzled for 1d4 rounds if it succeeds a Will save. Creatures
with light
blindness, light
sensitivity, or that are otherwise vulnerable to bright
light take 10d6 points of nonlethal damage.
You can only cast an onerous spell once a day, even if you have
unused spell slots available.
